Our mission is to conduct business based on the philosophy of the Japanese concept ‘Sanpo Yoshi,’ meaning mutual prosperity and coexistence, to contribute to society and our nation, and to promote the happiness of our employees.
"Sampo Yoshi" is a philosophy cherished by the Omi merchants who expanded their business from Shiga Prefecture (formerly Omi Province), where YMIT's headquarters and factory are located, to the rest of Japan. Based on the spirit of ‘good for sellers, good for buyers, and good for society,’ it is natural that both seller and buyer should be satisfied in business, and a business can only be considered ‘Yoshi’ (meaning ‘good’) if it also contributes to society.
